Block 90
So there they all are. The final 10 will be following soon.
Hopefully I’ll be quilting this some time in the near future, but serious procrastination has set in regarding layout and background/sashing fabric. Any suggestions welcome. I’m leaning towards a darker-ish rather than lighter colour as otherwise it’s going to be trashed in no time!!
I will be attempting to quilt as I go as there is NO WAY my machine will cope with this baby. This will be a first for me, but again I have to decide how to quilt it.
I’m giving myself till Autumn to finish this. Can you see why?
I *do* know what I’m using on the back though. They are already bought, paid for and in the post……one word…Botanics. Any excuse to invest in a rather large quantity of this beautiful fabric line!
Linking up with WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced.
Beautiful!
i.am.so.excited.about.this.quilt. you are so close! i can’t wait to see the finish!
it is absolutely beautiful!
I love your fussy cut foxes!
Fussy cut foxes in gumboots!
Oh wow, this is going to be fantastic!
I love the fox fabric! You’ll need to give us an audition of the sashing fabric options – would love to help you decide!!
Well done on Block 81 in particular. I skipped this block because it just looked too much like hard work for me. Wow I am lazy.
Block 85! Block 85! it’s so perfect! Though they all are gorgeous Amy 😉
You have no idea how excited i am to see this come together!
As for sashing, i’m not sure what navy you’ve been using but AGF Nocturnal is gorgeous, http://www.hawthornethreads.com/fabric/designer/patricia_bravo/pure_elements/solid_in_nocturnal
I’ve been using it with my Indian Summer and i love it! I think navy sashing would look awesome and really make your blocks pop! Just my two cents though 😉
all look very neat.. just wondering what will happen to all the blocks later??
