And now we have a village….

That’s right it’s City Sampler update time…three more down and I’m a quarter of the way though, woo!

No beating around the bush, let’s cut to the nitty are the blocks:

Block 22

block 22

Block 23

Block 23

Block 24

Block 24

That’s it for now…there will be more WIPS on the way, I seem to be on a roll with those right now!!

By the way I can’t seem to leave comments at the moment, don’t ask me why…I think I’ve been cursed by the technology fairy (or something). Anyway I complained, people said they’d fixed it and it was some obscure problem they’d never seen before, but I only managed to leave one comment today and now none…so sad. Hopefully it will be fixed soon, in the meantime I am stopping by I just can’t let some of you know.

  1. I love how you’re being unique and not copying Tula! I listened to an interview of Tula by pat Sloan and she was saying that she wanted people to tell their own story. You can’t tell your own story by copying although hers is gorgeous πŸ™‚ I especially love your block 32 πŸ™‚

  2. Critters in teh blocks! I love how the faces in that first block just peek out at you. Have you done a photo of all of your city sampler blocks together, or are you saving a big reveal for a finished quilt? πŸ™‚

  3. I love seeing all the blocks you are making from this book. I may have to plan ahead and ask for it for Christmas. Don’t think I have any time until then!
(and I’m having to use my twitter account to post this not my wordpress one because the technology fairy hates me too and won’t log me in!

    • Hi Alex, thanks very much for your comment. I know technology … frustrating, I’m having to reply from work …sssh! You should definitely get the book there are so many blocks in it and you don’t need to make all of them, you can pick and choose or mix them up to create new patterns. I want to have a go at that once I’ve finished my quilt…next year!!
