It’s almost the end of May which means time to round up my finishes and despite the sewing machine hiccup things have gone pretty well.
Here’s what I’ve managed to get done:
My main goal was to quilt the Bloom Bloom Pow which I’ve just finished.
I was kind of hoping I might have time to bind it too, but my fabric hasn’t arrived yet so it will have to wait until the end of the week/next month.
I also managed to get the 241 tote finished, my simple modern sewing skirt and felt flower balls.
Although I haven’t quite finished my ATC yet, it’s well on track and will be done by tomorrow…yay!
QAYG purse still not done, but there’s always next month.
Now what’s next on the list?…got lots of possibilities, we’ll see. Pillow Pop and 100 Modern Quilt Blocks are in the post so that might give you a hint!
Amy! The bloom bloom pow is beautiful – You did a phenomenal job on the quilting! It look so sharp! I absolutely adore the back and I think I might have to “borrow” that as a back for one of mine 🙂 Love it!
Thanks so much. It looks much better in the photo than up close! I’m glad you like the back, I didn’t really know what to do and I put it together really quickly, it’s funny how that can work better sometimes isn’t it.
Love the bloom bloom pow, the sewalong caught my eye, but so did my pile of UFOs. 🙂
wow.. that’s so many gorgeous projects completed in May.. Love the Bloom Bloom Pow quit.. great Job!.. 😉
Wow! Just beautiful….all of it! I can’t sew to save my life! Finally taking a beginner sewing class…wish me luck! I’m gonna need it!
Thanks very much! I couldn’t sew one bit either until I decided to have a go last year and somehow I’ve made a quilt, so I’m sure you’ll pick it up in no time. By the way your crocheted doilies are so pretty!
Your bloom bloom pow looks so pretty, the quilting is great! I need to have a recap and see how far along I am with my goals! 🙂
Thanks very much 🙂 I know I was a bit like that, the end of the month has come round so fast!
That is a gorgeous quilt! I think anyone who quilts is amazing – the epitome of patience! I don’t have the sort of patience to quilt lol.
What a productive person you are! So many lovely projects finished in one short month. I’m in awe.
wow what great work. Congratulations!
Thank you 🙂
